Doctor Greenscreen Settings

Hey kids!
Here are the three simple steps for your Final Cut Pro greenscreen settings that will get you an INSTANT and super clean key on your Doctor clips.

:: 1st ::  Add the Color Smoothing - 4:2:2  (In the Effects Bin, in the Key folder)

:: 2nd ::  Add Chroma Keyer (not the blue/green screen)
• Click on Visual button
• Use eye dropper to choose green background
• On the top color slider, widen out so the left is just about to blue and the right is just about to yellow (see the screenshot below)
• Drag the saturation all the way to the right, and almost all the way to the left
• Widen the Luma so it looks like above photo
• Edge Thin UP one click
• Softening UP two clicks
  (Leave Enhance at default)

:: 3rd ::  Add Spill Supressor - Green
• Make the setting: 4 (this depends on your BG - the lighter your Background clip, the less of this you want. The darker it is, the more you want)

And that should get you pretty close! These are the settings I used to create the clip in the link below, so you can see how clean these settings get the key. But you can tweak until it looks just right on your background. Enjoy!
